Modern VAG mild-hybrid vehicles and many Porsches and Lamborghinis use 48V lithium battery packs or 12V lithium auxiliary batteries. When they fail, the main dealer quote is usually eye-watering — we specialise in repairing rather than replacing these units.
Often it’s a failed cell, a BMS fault or a communication issue that’s entirely fixable.
Batteries we repair
- VAG 48V mild-hybrid lithium packs (Audi A3, A4, A5, Q3, Q5, VW Golf, Tiguan, Cupra Leon, Formentor)
- 12V lithium auxiliary batteries (Porsche 911, Taycan start-battery, Lamborghini Urus, Huracán)
- BMS / battery-management module faults
- Cell-level repair where a single cell has failed
- Charging system diagnosis — often the battery is fine and something else is killing it
